"Experience a sense of harmony with the rhythm of the river."
FISHING CHARTERS ON AREA RIVERS
From the banks and in the waters banks of tucked away mountain streams, fish the picturesque rivers of North Western North Carolina. From lessons to charters to nature clinics, we offer a variety of opportunities to connect with nature and disconnect from the stress of daily life.
Tenkara fishing is a centuries old fixed line technique of minimalist fly fishing developed by commercial fishermen in the high altitude streams of Japan. It allows anglers to intuitively master fly casting within minutes and accelerates the learning curve. Many new anglers find learning Tenkara is a springboard to expert fly fishing that otherwise can take years to master.
WESTERN FLY FISHING
This is what most people associate when they think of fly fishing (such as what was dramatized in 'A River Runs Through It'). Capt. Kevin is an Orvis-certified fly fishing instructor and has decades of experience teaching people all aspects of fly fishing and running fly charters.
Capt. Kevin is a four-time inshore tournament qualifying guide, holds world record catches and was an Everglades fishing guide for nearly 20 years, in addition to being a Master Licensed United States Coast Guard Captain. But he'll be the first to say that nothing delivers a sense of peace and harmony with nature like a quiet day fly fishing.
